My path into the kitchen was not the result of a single moment, but rather a process shaped day by day by curiosity, learning, and experience. Early in my career, it became clear to me that cooking would be more than a mere profession: it is a vocation in which one works with responsibility, humility, and passion.
Over the years, I have learned that the foundation of good cuisine is respect—respect for the ingredients, for the techniques, and for the guest alike. It is important to me to understand where an ingredient comes from, what role it plays in a dish, and how it can give its very best without losing its simplicity.
In the kitchen of the Grabensia Inn, I strive to create a natural unity between traditional flavors and a modern approach. I do not seek to reinterpret the classics, but rather to carry them forward in a worthy way, while preserving the soul and the story of the dish.
As a chef, I believe in the strength of the team, in mutual respect, and in the fact that guests can sense this harmony. For me, the greatest feedback is when someone returns not only for the food, but for the experience, the attention, and the sense of calm they receive here.
This is why we work day after day—quietly, consistently, with heart and soul.

Fabulous village environment - Maximum comfort
Our guest houses are fully equipped, therefore they can provide both a village atmosphere and maximum comfort. With the help of the everyday life of the village and the proximity of nature, our guests can break away from the worries of big city life and recharge with energy.
Wadvirág Apartment
This apartment house has 4 separate two floored units, each of which can accommodate up to 4 people. The apartments feature a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area and a private bathroom downstairs with shower and a hairdryer, and a bedroom on the upper floor. In the living room the sofa can be converted into a bed to accommodate 2 people and the upstairs bedroom features a double bed. The units come with a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe and thanks to our special heating system, our guests can control the temperature in the rooms with image heating. A small terrace with garden views is offered in every unit and a shared outside dining area is located within the courtyard, with barbecue facilities nearby. One of the units is the bridal suite, which provides a romantic setting for couples. Free public parking is available on site. Pets are not allowed!
We are delighted to announce that from 1 December 2024, guests staying in Wildflower Guesthouses will be able to use the hot tub at the end of the apartments. The hot tub can be used by six people at a time. If you require the bath to be pre-heated before your arrival, please let us know at least 2 days before your arrival. Please also let us know what time you would like to use it. The hot tub can be booked for 2*1 hour periods.
The hot tub is available for use between March 1 and November 30. (The tub is not available for use between November 30 and March 1.)
Free WIFI is available in all our apartments.

Iskolamester Apartment
Our Iskolamester apartment house has 2 rooms and can accommodate a total of 4 people. The house has a private courtyard, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a hairdryer. The rooms have double beds, a TV and a wardrobe.
Our apartment house features picture heating and a fireplace.
Wifi is available in the entire apartment free of charge!
Pets are allowed on request. Charges may apply!

FOR INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS:
Please pay 50% of the total amount of the accommodation as a deposit no later than 3 days after receipt of the confirmation email. The remaining amount should be transferred to us no later than 3 days before arrival. Please send a photocopy of the transfer to our e-mail address (grabensiafogado@gmail.com). You are free to change the date of your booking after the first payment has been received. Once the balance has been received, no changes or cancellations are possible.
For GROUPS (over 10 persons and/or 4 houses/rooms):
Please pay 50% of the total amount of the accommodation as a deposit no later than 3 days after receipt of the confirmation email. Please also kindly transfer the remaining balance to us no later than 14 days prior to arrival. Please send a photocopy of the transfer to our email address (grabensiafogado@gmail.com). You are free to change the date of your booking after the first payment has been received. Once the balance has been received, no changes or cancellations are possible.

Dear Guests,
We would like to inform you of an important change regarding the visiting regulations of the Buddhist Garden, effective from August 1, 2025.
From this date onwards, the Garden – also for our staying guests – may only be visited within the framework of guided walks, in order to preserve its peace and sacred character.
Key information:
Guided walk times: daily at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Duration of the walk: approx. 90 minutes.
